Workstation4 is an independent software studio in St. Louis, Missouri, run by a single developer. The name comes from the label on an old shared computer, and the work goes back to 1997, when it began as small websites for friends, family, and local businesses. Today it makes small, focused apps for iPhone and the wider Apple ecosystem, including Blinky, Sequence, YearlyQuest, Ghost Car, and Fast Kanji Quiz, along with web projects and the occasional game. Workstation4 takes no clients and self-publishes everything it makes. Its first Steam release, the train dispatch puzzle game Northgate Dispatch, launched for Windows, macOS, and Linux in November 2026.
