A German word made of Weg (way, path) and Freund (friend). Loosely: “a friend for the journey.” We're Wegfreund Games, a Bavarian indie studio, fully remote and founded in 2025. We build the games we want to play ourselves, we stay close to our players, and we're not afraid of weird ideas. True to our name, we want our games to be Wegfreunde: companions for the journey, there when you need a good time.
