We're a small independent studio in Herten, right in the middle of German coal country. We grew up where the winding towers still stand, so a mining sim isn't a theme we picked off a list. It's home ground. We build systems-driven simulations: physics that behaves, economies that react, and machines that work the way the real ones do. That same groundwork carries straight over into training software, configurators and commercial tools, which is how a mining sim and a machine simulator end up sharing a codebase. BERGWERK is the biggest thing we've built and our love letter to the Ruhrgebiet. We're making it in the open, one level at a time.
