Hectiq is a new video game development studio established in early 2023, in Bordeaux, France. The 4 founders are industry veterans who met while working on Microsoft Flight Simulator at Asobo Studio (91% Metacritic and +10 millions players). The team now consists of 9 members. Hectiq was created with the aim of developing unique and captivating games across various genres, focusing on creativity, playability, and technical innovation. Hectiq is currently working on its first game: Los Pingheros, a snowball fight game with penguins in Mexico.
