StarUniverse

StarUniverse is a sci-fi real-time strategy game inspired by StarCraft II, built on the developer's own Kova Engine. Players gather crystals and plasma, construct bases, research upgrades and command armies against AI opponents or other players on an online ladder. Three asymmetric races are playable: the Coalition, a human military force with bunkers, siege tanks and buildings that can lift off; the Hive, an alien swarm that spreads creep, spawns from larvae and burrows underground; and the Ascendants, a psionic civilization with shielded units, Warp Gates, Chrono Boost and Psionic Storm. The game includes seven maps (four 1v1 and three 2v2) with dynamic environments such as volcanic eruptions with falling ash, glacier blizzards and an alien jungle with fluorescent storms. Modes include matches against the AI in 1v1 and 2v2, online ranked play with MMR matchmaking, leagues and seasons, replays and observer mode. It is available in English and Spanish.

On the edge of known space, a chain of frontier worlds holds vast deposits of crystal and plasma, the two resources that power interstellar civilization. Three powers converge on them: the Coalition, a human military alliance determined to secure the frontier; the Hive, a ravenous alien swarm that consumes and transforms every world it touches; and the Ascendants, an ancient psionic civilization that claims these worlds as its own heritage. From volcanic basins and frozen rifts to overgrown alien jungles, every planet becomes a battlefield where only one race can prevail.
