Scroll Shop

Run a fantasy scroll shop, experiment with magical ingredients, discover new spells and solve strange requests. Learn the hidden logic of magic, choose the right scroll for each customer and live with the consequences of every spell you deliver.

On an old city street, a small scroll shop that has been closed for years opens its doors again—and it’s yours to run. Inside, you’ll find unfinished notes, former customers’ records, strange ingredients, and fragments of magical knowledge. Customers arrive with problems that seem simple: rats in a farmer’s field, a merchant who can’t sleep, or something lost. They ask for a scroll, but not for a specific spell. You must work out what they really need, study the available components, and discover how different spells work. Several spells might solve the same problem, but each can lead to a different outcome: kill the rats, drive them away, or change the field so they leave on their own. Each request teaches you about new elements, ingredients, magical relationships, and rules. As the shop’s reputation grows, you’ll face more complicated troubles, from a dry well or a bitter feud to a stubborn illness or an old curse—and some customers may not tell you everything. Notes left by the previous owner also reveal unfinished spells, hidden ingredients, and scrolls never delivered. You’ll learn not only how to create more powerful magic, but how it works and what consequences it can bring. Scroll Shop is about understanding people’s problems and deciding which solution should be given to them.
