Neki’s Asylum

Neki’s Asylum is a first-person horror game. Misha wakes up in an abandoned hospital where Neki, a girl with cat ears and a knife, is hunting him. He has to hide, solve puzzles and escape before seven days run out.

November 13, 22:40. My name is Misha Dolzhansky. For six months my head has been hurting, and not the way it hurts other people: as if something presses on my eyes from the inside and whispers. Pills didn’t help, doctors shrugged. In the end they sent me to the regional hospital “for an examination”. The hospital was being closed down. Empty wards, lights that work every other time. They put me in an exam room on the ground floor and gave me an injection: “Sleep it off, you’ll feel better.” I dreamt of a girl with cat ears. She stood at the end of a long corridor under a flickering lamp, looking at a knife. When I opened my eyes, it was quiet. Too quiet. No nurses, no doctors, only the rain outside and the hum of the lamps. And somehow I knew her name. Neki. You have seven days to get out. Every time Neki finds you, you wake up on the same bed again, with one day fewer. Is it a dream? If it is, why does it hurt so much?
