Doki Doki: Emerald Affection is a modification of the game Doki Doki Literature Club! which focuses on the relationship between the protagonist (MC) and the club president, Monika. After a month in the club and with graduation approaching, the MC begins to question his feelings for Monika. With a complicated past and the desire to make her happy, he faces the dilemma of confessing his feelings or letting life's problems get in the way.

After one month in the club and graduation only a few months away, MC becomes conflicted about how he feels about the club president, Monika. With a complicated past, and a drive to make Monika happy, will he work up the guts to be with her? Or will life’s problems get in the way?
