In 357 A.T. (After Truth), Earth-0 learns it is the original Earth from which every other universe branches. Out of this comes the CREW, a for-profit time-travel insurance company that lets the rich insure their past and future across the Multiverse. Its offices exist in every universe and era, and entry is by appointment only. Run by Beau Ouss, a spoiled heir obsessed with becoming the richest tycoon of all time, the CREW sends expendable recruits from “Null Years” (years that can never affect the future) to repair timelines using wrenches, screwdrivers and hammers that hide reality-bending technology. The more a client pays, the bigger the job: big spenders get full stages, while small payers get a bonus level.
