Carist

Carist is a dark modern-day side-scrolling RPG by LuciferBrand (later ImCyan). The player follows Carist, a deeply disturbed man possessed by a warped sense of justice. He wields a sacred firearm left by a wartime hero and embarks on a violent crusade against perceived evildoers. The game features 2D side-view exploration and combat, and its narrative explores themes of fanaticism and the consequences of violence.
