Tired of the city grind, you leave it behind and move to a small town named after its river, where you inherit a run-down house. With patience, a little money and some help from the neighbours, it can become the coziest cafe in the valley. You grow your own coffee, roast, grind and brew it, and serve the locals who come through the door. Sergei the handyman repairs the shabby chairs, tables, floors and walls. Kate sells beans, cups and equipment from her shop, and Anastasia the carpenter supplies planks and stone and builds furniture to order. Julia, a painter, repaints the cafe's walls and floors. Through it all, a stubborn ginger cat named Ostin has a story of his own, and keeps you company. There are no deadlines: the cafe, the neighbours and the town grow at your own pace.
