At Dead Of Night: The Great Hugo

At Dead of Night: The Great Hugo is an upcoming prequel-sequel to At Dead Of Night, due to release some time in 2026, confirmed on BaggyCat’s website in late 2025. It was initially confirmed during March of 2023, and the first teaser trailer was shown in February 2024. It takes places in a separate location than the first game and has been described as "more interactive" by the developer, as well as containing a different cast of ghosts. By the looks of the images, it seems to be set in a Tudor-style mansion.

Five years later, Maya is still haunted by her experiences in Sea View Hotel. However, she has started to feel that this is more than PTSD. Desperate for answers she remembers the ghost box she used in the hotel, left there when she escaped. After searching on auction sites and in antique shops, she finds a similar looking device but can't get it to work. She contacts an old friend and counsellor, Quinn, who had helped her understand her supernatural experiences in the hotel. Quinn recognizes the device and knows where they were made - by an inventor who used to live in a large Tudor manor house not far from Sea View - but warns her against trying to get it working. However, Maya ignores his advice and goes on her own investigation.
